Certificate of Relief Workshop

Have you ever been denied a job, a license, or housing because of your criminal record? “Certificates of Relief from Disabilities” and “Certificates of Good Conduct” are legal documents that can help protect you from discrimination because of your conviction record.

Participants in this free workshop left with a completed application for a Certificate of Relief or a Certificate of Good Conduct. They also left with a personal statement and “accomplishment packet” to provide to employers who want to deny you a job because of your background check.
