Our staff has always been the legal community’s first responders to national crises. In January, staff immediately traveled to JFK Airport in response to the Executive Orders on immigration issued by the White House excluding individuals from seven countries. Other Staff went directly to our Brooklyn Office on Livingston Street to prepare writs for federal court. Leadership in our Criminal Defense and Civil Practices developed plans for an around-the-clock hotline. Their tremendous work continued throughout the year and continues to this day.
