Congratulations to Janet Sabel, Attorney-in-Chief and CEO of The Legal Aid Society, for her recognition as one of Crain’s New York Business 2020 Notable Women in Law. Each year this list honors women who have exemplified the utmost professionalism, leadership and dedication in the practice of law.

This year’s list includes leaders from some of the city’s top law firms, corporations, and nonprofit organizations, and is a testament to the growth of women in leadership roles in the legal industry. As an organization led by women, and whose client community is composed primarily of women, we are proud to highlight the exemplary leadership of one of our own.
