The Legal Aid Society released the following statement responding to the passing of Ruth Bader Ginsburg, United State Supreme Court Justice:

“Ruth Bader Ginsburg was truly a legend – brilliant, unstoppable, compassionate, a rock star, our hero – and we are a far better society because of her. We are stronger and more fulfilled as women because of the path she paved and the fight she fought until the very end. One of the greatest women of all time. We are devastated by this loss. Today we affirm the powerful words of Justice Ginsburg that will lead us forward – ‘Fight for the things that you care about but do it in a way that leads others to join you.’ Rest in power, RBG.”
